August 23, 2020 – EAA moved its annual AirVenture fly-in to a virtual format in 2020 and delighted fans across the country and worldwide. The event, billed as “five days of flying engagement and fun”, included streaming and on-demand content, plus a virtual mall for exhibitors typically found at the event in Oshkosh.

National Group Recognizes Winneconne Bridge

August 20, 2020 – The WIS 116 river crossing is a critical link in a growing region of the state, connecting area residents to Oshkosh and the Fox Valley via U.S. 45 and U.S. 41. The crossing is integral to those living in the Winneconne area because it provides access to employment, educational facilities, retail, health care providers, recreation, and supports local businesses and trucking access.

$4.7M Federal Grant for Madison Bus Rapid Transit

August 16, 2020 – Madison will receive a $4.7M FTA grant to help create a BRT, or Bus Rapid Transit, system in the city. This project is expected to help reduce traffic on Madison’s Isthmus, better connect the east and west sides of the city, and make Metro’s current system “smarter and faster.”
